More yarn from June Dye Day

Here are some more yarns plyed in different ways.  These were dyed using the skillet method and plyed with either dark brown or a white wool/angora blend.  Dave

After spinning this yarn, I used a Navajo three ply for the following skein.

Notice the fairly consistent runs of color

Two ply yarn - Same roving, but the colors are more mixed.

Another roving which was dyed in a small batch in the electric skillet was this batt from a fleece from our Carrollton breeder.

The above roving spun and plyed with dark brown.
Yet another treatment of the painted roving plying with both dark and light second strand.

Painted roving (Leicester Longwool, silk, angora)
Yarn from painted roving/unpainted roving

Same roving plyed with white and dark brown.
